GORILLA ALLEGEDLY SWALLOWS 6.8M IN KANO ZOO

This is becoming an unbearable joke in Nigeria. I wish the animals could speak. A Gorilla at the kano zoological garden,has been accused of swallowing 6.8m naira during the last Ramadan celebration. According to reports, a finance officer in the zoo was quoted as saying that the gorilla sneaked into their office and carted away the money before swallowing it. The managing director of the zoo, Alhaji Umar Kobo who chose not to speak on the matter,  confirmed the money is missing and the issue is being investigated. The police in the state has arrested ten people including the security man and those in the finance unit who were confirmed to be on duty when the incident occurred. Former Nigerian captain, John Mikel Obi, has insisted he is open to offers to play for a club in the Egyptian Premier League following his departure from Turkish side, Trabzonspor, in March this year.
