BUHARI STOPPED AT DEVELOPING NIGER-DELTA

THE Senator representing Delta Central senatorial district, Delta State, Ovie Omo-Agege, has alleged that the people of Niger Delta region were the ones making it difficult for President Muhammadu Buhari to come out with his blueprint for the development of the region.

Fielding questions from newsmen after a meeting with host community leaders and other stakeholders in Urhoboland at Ughelli, Omo-Agege said: "From the moment the man became President, there has been a concerted effort to deprive him of the opportunity to even show his hand on how he is going to develop the Niger Delta.

We believe it would create an enabling environment for him to come and develop the region and thus opportunity should be given before they condemn him, as even God does not even condemn without giving somebody a hearing.
